Gender Justice
Combating Gender Based Violence
Rising cases of femicide, intimate partner violence, and corrective rape in Kenya require urgent, sustained action. Our GBV program offers survivor-centered support while working to dismantle the societal and institutional structures that enable violence. Key components include: Survivor support and trauma-informed interventions Referrals to legal aid and safe reporting pathways Public education on consent, safety, and community accountability Advocacy for stronger enforcement and reform of GBV policies We collaborate with community leaders, activists, and service providers to ensure survivors are protected and perpetrators are held accountable.
TGNC-LGQ Rights Advocacy
We champion the rights, dignity, and safety of transgender, gender-nonconforming, and queer communities. Our advocacy seeks to challenge systemic discrimination while expanding access to legal protections, healthcare, and socio-economic opportunities. Our work includes: Community organizing and leadership development Public awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote acceptance, Strategic advocacy for inclusive policies and legal recognition Partnerships with national and grassroots movements to amplify TGNC-LGQ voices. This program is rooted in the belief that all people deserve to live openly, safely, and authentically.
Leadership and Movement Building
We invest in the next generation of feminist leaders, organizers, and advocates by providing mentorship, skills development, and movement-building opportunities. Our leadership initiatives offer: Training in advocacy, community mobilization, and organizational development Mentorship programs for young feminist activists Platforms for intergenerational learning and solidarity Support for grassroots-led initiatives driving social change This work strengthens the broader feminist movement and ensures sustainable, community-driven leadership.
Climate Change Education & Awareness
Our Climate Change Education & Awareness program empowers communities to understand, navigate, and respond to the growing impacts of the climate crisis. Recognizing that climate change disproportionately affects those already facing social and economic inequalities, we work to ensure that climate justice remains at the heart of feminist organizing. Key focus areas include: Community Education & Training: Workshops, dialogues, and learning sessions that demystify climate science, highlight local climate impacts, and build practical skills for climate resilience. Feminist Climate Justice Advocacy: Centering marginalized voices in national and regional climate policy processes, emphasizing the intersection of gender, sexuality, and environmental rights. Youth Engagement: Partnering with schools, youth groups, and feminist collectives to strengthen climate literacy and cultivate the next generation of climate justice leaders. Sustainable Community Practices: Promoting eco-friendly habits, environmental stewardship, and locally-led solutions that support both people and the planet.
